Experience

Small scale  bookseller, student of cyberculture and collector of kitchenalia.

I have been employed in various administrative, web-focused and accounting roles in my other work:

  • various contracts at the Department of Commerce (online services and accounts / admininistration)
  • Centrelink Customer Service Advisor at call centre (specifically dealing with AGDRP payments as a result of the 2010 floods and fires)
  • Newspaper collator (WA newspapers 1800-1950) for the HRRC project at SLWA and;
  • TV presenter and admin / production assistant for Ctv Perth (now WestTV)

Qualifications

TAFE / Polytechnic certificates in:

  • Accounting (III and IV)
  • Business (III)
  • Business administration (IV)
  • Small business management (IV)  (via E.M.C.S.) and;
  • Bookkeeping (IV)

In addition, various short courses in:

  • book preservation / care / archival practice
  • record management
  • MYOB and Tax Basics for small business
  • Let’s Get Online (small business assistance to improve online presence) and;
  • Cross Cultural Communication (Indigenous)

I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree (Media Studies) from Murdoch University and am an avid Agatha Christie fan.
